Adventures of a Vagabond Photographer
I finally made it to the western edge of Canada, Long Beach, Tofino. And just in time for this glorious sunset! Despite Christmas being a mere week away, there were a few brave surfers riding the famous storm surge. To me, this is heaven and my favourite refuge. A perfect end to another perfect day!
Stunning Horseshoe Bay!
Day 3 of the Great #viarail Adventure saw us travel through some of Canada’s most stunning scenery, Jasper National Park in Alberta. There was a Christmas card worthy shot at every hairpin turn! I captured this snap near Moose Lake. Everyone on board was stunned to silence when we finally entered this winter wonderland. Although I loved the vastness of the Prairies, the rugged, raw, untamed beauty of The Canadian Rockies is incomparable. Simply the best.
I am gradually getting my train legs and am learning how to edit and post snaps on the fly set to the backdrop of a quietly chugging train. Today’s vast prairie vistas got me longing for my own cattle ranch…
I loved our trek across Manitoba today! Vast farmland, statuesque grain elevators, and miles of windswept, tilting hydropoles. Here’s a few black and white snaps to set the mood. #viarail #Canada
